Our Production Process

Combined, our highly skilled and professional staff has hundreds of years of leather crafting experience between them. While every member of our team performs a specialized job function, each member has also been cross trained to perform other necessary functions. From handbags to watch straps, our staff produces some of the highest quality luxury leather and exotic skin accessories on the market today.

Painting

A highly skilled member of our production team carefully hand paints edges of an item. In addition to hand painted edges, our staff is one of the few remaining factories in the USA capable of providing clients with hand-turned edges.

Sewing

A member of our staff is seen here sewing the interior lining of a Genuine Alligator handbag. Genuine exotic skin items require a high level of expertise to ensure our client’s expensive hides are not damaged during the production process.

Clicker

Our company is unique in that it has its own machine shop located within the facility. We make or own metal cutting dies quickly and efficiently. Here you see a valued member of our staff using a Clicker to die cut leather for a handbag project.

Bone

Our talented team members combine both old, trusted production methods along with new technology to create the highest quality goods. Here, a member of our staff uses a bone to turn the edges of leather for a project.

Pattern

Metal cutting dies are typically used for production of volume orders. For smaller, more intricate projects like handbags, a member of our staff creates individual cutting templates for each section of the project. Here you can view the many templates required to complete a single handbag. Some of these projects have dozens of pieces that are hand cut from the hide by a skilled craftsman.
